Soft, Supportive, and Alice-Approved: AME Yoga’s Atlantic Shorts

Image
Hi loves, it’s Alice 💗 My Atlantic Pocket Yoga Shorts from Ame Yoga Clothing arrived today, and I couldn’t wait—I slipped them on and took them straight into an afternoon class. And oh my goodness… these might be some of the most comfortable shorts I’ve worn in ages. The fabric is soft, breathable, and has just enough hold to feel supportive without ever feeling tight. They move beautifully—every stretch, every twist, every bend felt natural. The cut is smooth and flattering, and the light compression gives them that “just-right” hug that makes you feel put together the second you pull them on. What I really appreciated, though, is the design. The high, wide waistband stayed in place the entire class—no rolling, no digging. And the pockets? Roomy, practical, and somehow still sleek. They added function without adding bulk, which is a small miracle. Now, for my padded friends—yes, I always keep it real. I wear diapers daily for medical reasons, and I need activewear that works with me,...

Thursday Layers — Week 3 Textures of Comfort

Image
There’s a language to softness — the way fabric brushes your skin, the quiet rustle of a waistband, the warmth of cotton or fleece after a shower. Every layer tells part of your story before you ever say a word. Today’s layers are all about touch. A printed diaper — thick, pillowy, softly crinkly — that hums with quiet confidence beneath pastel leggings. A longline sports bra with a barely-there hold, light as a whisper, yet grounding in its embrace. Then, over everything, a tunic that moves when I move — flowing, breathable, and a little bit flirty. Thursday Layers is my way of honoring those tiny details that make comfort visible. Some days it’s color that calls to me; others, it’s texture. Together, they remind me that comfort isn’t something to hide — it’s something to feel. When I let softness guide me, I find a version of myself that’s calm, capable, and quietly radiant — not despite the layers, but because of them. 🌷 💗 #ThursdayLayers #TexturesOfComfort #AliceInYog...

Support Sunday — “The Strength You Don’t See (But Feel Anyway)

Image
There’s a kind of strength we rarely talk about — the kind that doesn’t shout, flex, or sparkle under gym lights. It doesn’t look impressive in photos. It doesn’t get applause. It’s quieter. Closer. A strength that sits under everything else, like the softest base layer you don’t even realize is doing all the work. This week, I found myself thinking about that hidden strength — the kind we build not by pushing harder, but by allowing ourselves to stay supported. The strength you feel, not the strength you perform. For me, it shows up in little moments: When I change into a fresh diaper and feel my body relax because I’m safe. When I pull on leggings that hug instead of punish. When I sit on my mat and take one honest breath instead of forcing myself through a routine I’m not ready for. When I ask for help — even quietly — instead of pretending I’m fine. None of those moments would show up on a fitness tracker. But every single one adds to my real strength — the inne...

🌿 Thursday Layers — Week 2 From Mat to Outfit

Image
There’s something magical about that moment after yoga — when the movement settles, your breathing softens, and the body feels both grounded and light. That’s when I shift from practice to pampering. For me, it starts with a fresh diaper and a deep exhale. 🩵 The kind of softness that says, “You did enough today.” Then I slip into my lavender sports bra — that first gentle hug that reminds me to breathe — followed by smooth, stretchy leggings that hold everything just right, and finally a cozy hoodie that feels like a reward for showing up. Thursday Layers is about celebrating those quiet transitions that carry us through the week — the shift from mat to outfit, strength to softness, motion to stillness. This week’s layer isn’t about performance or polish; it’s about presence. Taking the time to reset, refresh, and wrap yourself in what feels most like you — inside and out. 🌸 After practice comes pampering. A fresh diaper, soft leggings, and my favorite hoodie — that’s how I re...

🌸 Support Sunday — Coming Home to Your Core

Image
Before we start exploring the muscles, movements, and mindful moments of pelvic floor work, let’s take a pause to simply come home to our bodies. So often, those of us living with incontinence learn to brace — to hold tension, to tighten, to protect. We forget that support doesn’t begin with strength; it begins with softness. The pelvic floor, after all, is not a wall — it’s a hammock. It supports, it yields, it moves with us. This week, instead of thinking about “training” or “fixing,” try this: Sit quietly for one minute. Breathe into your lower belly. Feel how the body rises and falls, how the seat of your body meets the surface beneath you. That gentle awareness is support. Here’s to starting this next phase of Alice in Yoga Pants with softness and curiosity — to letting strength unfold, not forcing it. —Alice. Proudly padded, softly confident. #SupportSunday #AliceInYogaPants #PelvicFloorAwareness #ProudlyPadded #SoftlyConfident

🌸 Still Here, Still Soft — and Ready to Move Again

Image
It’s been a while since I’ve shared as Alice in Yoga Pants , but lately I’ve felt that familiar pull — that mix of softness, strength, and self-acceptance that started this whole journey in the first place. When I looked back at what resonated most with all of you, it was clear: the stories that mattered were about comfort and confidence — about learning to move, stretch, and live in our bodies as they are. Three of the top posts were about leggings and diapers; the other two about the pelvic floor and incontinence. Together, they tell a story of wholeness — of finding courage where others expect shame, and freedom where there’s often silence. So, moving forward, Alice in Yoga Pants will focus more deeply on those two threads — the visible and invisible layers that shape confidence: 🌿 Fitness Friday: practical, playful posts on yoga, leggings, and managing the VDL (Visible Diaper Line) with style and self-assurance. 🌸 Support Sunday: deeper reflections on the pelvic flo...

🌿 When Soft Dreams Shift: What I Learned from Building Cotton Tail

Image
There’s something beautiful about creating with your heart — about dreaming up a brand, a story, and a promise that reflect the comfort you wish for yourself and others. Cotton Tail Diapers was exactly that for me: a vision of softness, confidence, and acceptance for anyone navigating life in diapers — not as a secret, but as a source of strength. Over the past year, I poured my energy into building something gentle and trustworthy. I met kind people, learned about suppliers, packaging, pricing, and all the behind-the-scenes details that make a dream feel tangible. But I also learned how easily those dreams can run into walls that patience and passion alone can’t move. After months of supplier delays, pricing standstills, and shifting promises, I realized something important: sometimes, the kindest thing you can do for a dream is give it rest. So Cotton Tail Diapers is taking a soft pause. Not because the heart behind it disappeared — but because that heart is still learning, ...

Thursday Layers — Week 1 Support Starts from the Bottom

Image
Welcome to a brand-new chapter: Thursday Layers. This series is all about what we wear closest to our skin — and how those layers shape our comfort, confidence, and connection to self. It’s a softer, more personal companion to Wardrobe Wednesday and Support Sunday — a little peek behind the leggings, if you will. 💕 Every Thursday, we’ll celebrate the textures, colors, and feelings that begin our day — whether that’s a fresh diaper, soft plastic pants, or the leggings that make everything feel in place. Because support doesn’t just come from poses, people, or promises — it starts from the bottom, in those quiet layers that keep us safe, comfortable, and beautifully seen. Today’s layer is a reminder of softness. A thick, pastel diaper — crinkly, comforting, and secure — paired with smooth, high-waisted leggings that hug without hiding. These are the moments of truth between you and your reflection. No need to tuck, flatten, or conceal — just breathe, feel, and exist as you are. T...
