Thursday Layers - Week 4 Holding Space for Softness

Image
Some days, the layers choose me. I don’t reach for colors or textures because they match — I reach for whatever feels gentle enough to hold the version of myself that woke up this morning. Today began with a soft rustle and a deep inhale — a fresh diaper settling into place, warm and certain, reminding me that support doesn’t have to be loud to be real. Over it, pastel leggings that glide instead of grip, tracing comfort along my legs with every movement. A sports bra that sits like a hug rather than a harness. And finally, a top light enough to float but structured enough to make me feel seen. Thursday Layers is becoming a quiet weekly ritual — a moment to honor how I dress my body before the world enters the conversation. These pieces aren’t costumes or armor; they’re invitations. Gentle reminders to slow down, soften, and choose comfort in ways that feel both grounded and gracefully feminine. The more I let softness lead, the more I realize: It’s not the outfit that makes the...

✨ A Soft Return — Catching My Breath, Finding My Layers Again

Image
It feels like forever since I’ve shown up here, but maybe that’s the beauty of softness: it gives you space to step back, breathe, and come home to yourself again. Late November moved fast — new routines, new experiences, and a handful of tender shifts that reminded me why I started Alice in Yoga Pants in the first place. Even in the quiet, I stayed wrapped in my rituals: fresh diapers, pastel leggings, soft sports bras, and the cozy layers that keep me grounded in who I am. I just hadn’t put the words down. So here I am again, settling back into this space with gratitude. Thank you for still being here. 💗 I’m excited to bring new Thursday Layers, new Support Sundays, and new reflections from the journey — including a few gentle lessons I’ve been gathering quietly behind the scenes. Here’s to softness, to showing up when it feels right, and to continuing this path together. — Alice 🩷🩵 #aliceinyogapants #softreturn #selfacceptance #gentlemoments #diaperedan...

Thursday Layers — Week 3 Textures of Comfort

Image
There’s a language to softness — the way fabric brushes your skin, the quiet rustle of a waistband, the warmth of cotton or fleece after a shower. Every layer tells part of your story before you ever say a word. Today’s layers are all about touch. A printed diaper — thick, pillowy, softly crinkly — that hums with quiet confidence beneath pastel leggings. A longline sports bra with a barely-there hold, light as a whisper, yet grounding in its embrace. Then, over everything, a tunic that moves when I move — flowing, breathable, and a little bit flirty. Thursday Layers is my way of honoring those tiny details that make comfort visible. Some days it’s color that calls to me; others, it’s texture. Together, they remind me that comfort isn’t something to hide — it’s something to feel. When I let softness guide me, I find a version of myself that’s calm, capable, and quietly radiant — not despite the layers, but because of them. 🌷 💗 #ThursdayLayers #TexturesOfComfort #AliceInYog...

Thursday Layers — Week 1 Support Starts from the Bottom

Image
Welcome to a brand-new chapter: Thursday Layers. This series is all about what we wear closest to our skin — and how those layers shape our comfort, confidence, and connection to self. It’s a softer, more personal companion to Wardrobe Wednesday and Support Sunday — a little peek behind the leggings, if you will. 💕 Every Thursday, we’ll celebrate the textures, colors, and feelings that begin our day — whether that’s a fresh diaper, soft plastic pants, or the leggings that make everything feel in place. Because support doesn’t just come from poses, people, or promises — it starts from the bottom, in those quiet layers that keep us safe, comfortable, and beautifully seen. Today’s layer is a reminder of softness. A thick, pastel diaper — crinkly, comforting, and secure — paired with smooth, high-waisted leggings that hug without hiding. These are the moments of truth between you and your reflection. No need to tuck, flatten, or conceal — just breathe, feel, and exist as you are. T...
